Diary and partriarchal blessings, 1853-1868.

Handwritten diary covering the years 1853 to 1855 and typed copies of patriarchal blessings of Hazen family members given by C. W. Hyde in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1868. Hazen writes about his conversion to Mormonism in England, his calling as a branch president in that faith, his marriage to Mary Ann Bainbridge, and his emigration to the United States. He also included are handwitten copies of songs and poems.
